We provided MEP engineering and LEED consulting services for this 4-story Class A speculative office building in Mountain View.
The project is targeting LEED Platinum. The mechanical design includes a variable refrigerant flow heat recovery system to assist in meeting aggressive to reduce energy consumption to 45% below the Title 24 Standard (an EUI of below 40kBtuh/yr*sf). Additionally, increased IAQ is provided to the building by a dedicated outside air system, equipped with heat recovery to increase energy savings.
The Project is a 4-story Class A 4 speculative office building of approximately 62,000 sf of
leasable area above grade with 31 privately accessed subterranean parking spaces and a roof terrace. The ground floor can be configured as retail spaces or office space. The project incorporates a roof terrace and is seeking a minimum LEED Gold rating under the 2009 Core and Shell certification program.
